This wonderful and versatile edible fungi which is grown throughout the world had many health benefits. There are many types of mushrooms including button mushrooms, Enoki, Maitake, my favourite Oyster mushrooms, Beech, Hedgehog, Blue foot, portobello, shiitake, Morel, Agarics, Chanterelles, Porcini. To name a few, after all there’s around 14,000 species of mushrooms.

Eating a wide diverse diet and eating from all the food groups, consuming less salt, sugars and saturated fats along with Trans-fatty acids will all aid in a healthier you.

The nutrients from your diet will aid in growth and repair helping you to stay fitter and healthier, well lowering the risks of illnesses such as diabetes, heart attacks and strokes along with lowering the risks of certain cancers.
